Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude toubia is an Canadian actress best known for her role for her role as the star of Freeform Fantasy series Shadowhunters as well as Venevision Television series Cosita linda and Voltea Pa' que te is enamoured. She is also an accomplished performer and model. A Montreal born native, she grew in Texas and was always attracted to performing. Since she was a child, she had been trained to dance in various forms. In her 15th year, she started competing in beauty pageants. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia gained fame when she participated in Nuestra Belleza Latina, the Univision pageant program. Her acting debut came in 2010as receptionist in an episode of Telemundo's TV show Aurora. Her first movie was an action-drama called Tattooed Love in 2015. Toubia is nominated twice in the Teen Choice Awards as the best TV actress Fantasy/Sci-Fi due to her part in Shadowhunters.
