Whitney Houston and Dana Bash

Whitney Elizabeth Houston is a artist from Newark New Jersey on the 9th of August, 1963. The parents of her are gospel stars Cissy Houston(n e Emily Lee Drinkard) and John Russell Houston Jr. Whitney's cousin Dionne Warwick sings as well. She began singing in the choir at the church she attended The New Hope Baptist Church in Newark when she was a child and at 15 was singing backing vocals professionally along with the mother of her on Chaka Khans 1978 hit Im Every Woman. In the year 1981, she worked as a fashion model and also appeared on the Seventeen Cover. She also provided backing vocals to Lou Rawls and Jermaine. The year 1981 saw her begin singing with the New York-based funk group Material. The band's quality vocal performance in this band that attracted interest of recording labels such as Arista. Whitney Houston, her debut album that debuted in 1985 was the most-sold album by an unproven singer. My Love was her debut album. My Love was released in 1985, and quickly became a number one smash. In its initial US year of release, the album sold over 3 million units. It went on to be purchased by more than 25 million worldwide and earned her her first Grammy. The follow-up album released in 1987 Whitney that included hits Where Do Broken Hearts Go and I Wanna Dance With Somebody built upon her successes, but it was the 1992 film The Bodyguard (1992) that established her as one of the top-selling performers ever. While her movie performance and its soundtrack were not well-received however, the Dolly Parton cover I Will Always Love You and the album accompanying it were top of the charts around the globe for months. Also in 1993 that she was married to Bobby Brown, an ex-New Edition artist and father of her sole daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown. Her daily drug usage was well documented.

Dana Bash is also known as Dana Ruth Schwartz and she works for CNN as both an anchorwoman, reporter, and political correspondent. Her programs on Saturdays are Evans & Novak Late Edition, Inside Politics and Inside Politics. Bash has received many awards as well as a spot at the top of the Women in Washington Power List by Elle magazine. A lot of young journalists praise Bash for her incredible reporting and anchoring skills. This George Washington University grad is the most loving mom to her single child. She was twice married but is not currently married. Bash is a strong, independent and tough woman. She cherishes her fans.
